On Wednesday 8th July, Sugar Blue Burlesque brings you the preview of the Annual Perth International Burlesque Festival for 2015 with its internationally acclaimed touring artists gracing the stage at the Margaret River Arts Centre.
Hosted by the hilarious MC Diggy Bones, the performers include festival headliners Vicky Butterfly from London, Medianoche from New York, Lillian Starr from Sydney and Trixi Tassels from London as well as festival producers Coco Poppin and A’dora Derriere.
There will be a prize for best dressed, so get glammed up and be part of the fun!

Ruby Slippers and Coco Poppin are off to Broome for ‘A taste of Fringe World at Shinju Matsuri 2014.’
After receiving a warm welcome in 2013, FRINGE WORLD Festival will present A Taste of FRINGE WORLD to Broome audiences as part of the Shinju Matsuri Festival on the 12 & 13 September 2014.
FRINGE WORLD Festival aims to provide regional audiences with access to high quality arts & cultural events, and to promote the wider Western Australia region as a viable touring location to FRINGE WORLD Festival artists.
Broome audiences can sample the delights of Perth’s FRINGE WORLD Festival through the following events:
Friday 12th September
8pm – 10pm: A Taste of FRINGE WORLD Cabaret – The Roebuck Bay Hotel
Performers include: Sugar Blue Burlesque’s Ruby Slippers and Coco Poppin, comedian Janelle Koenig, magician Jon Madd, the circus skills of Fliptease, hosted by Perth’s Magnus Danger Magnus.
Saturday 13th September
* 11am – 12:30pm – FRINGE Kids Comedy Gala – Pigram Garden Theatre, Broome Civic Centre

Sugar Blue Burlesque goes to Hedland!
This show has been specially curated by the Matt Dann Theatre and Cinema for the North West Festival so this really is a once-in-a-lifetime performance not to be missed!
Hosted by MC Famous Sharron, the show will star Sugar Blue’s sensational performers, Cecile Mimieux, Coco Poppin, Charlie D.Barkle and Ruby Slippers.
Come in your best outfit as there will be a prize for Best Dressed!
Reminiscent of the 1920′s through to the 60′s, Sugar Blue Burlesque presents a unique blend of classic burlesque and elaborate vintage costumes, with authentic vintage dances, comedy, music and crowd pleasing theatricality!
Ruby Slippers will also be teaching a Burlesque Bump & Grind Dance Workshop in Port Hedland on Wednesday 20th August. For more details, click here!
