Enjoy the magic of Burlesque and Bollywood in a power packed day with Sugar Blue Burlesque and the Bollywood Dance Studio!

You will also receive special discounts on regular classes and term packages on the day!

All classes will be taught at a Beginner Level, open to men and women aged over 15 years, except for the Burlesque Dance classes, which is 18 years + and for women only.

Workshops are $10 each or $50 for all 6 workshops (+ Booking Fee)

10-10.50 : Bolly Active – Dance Fitness

11- 11.50: Burlesque Dance

11.50 – 12.20: Lunch Break

12.20 – 1.10: Bolly Basic – Adult Beginner to Intermediate

1.20 – 2.10: 1920’s Charleston Dance

2.20 – 3.10: Bolly Classical – Fusion Classical

Class Descriptions

Bolly Active

Join us for an exhilarating 50 mins of ‘The Happy Workout” combining dance cardio, toning, resistance training and yoga to the hottest Bollywood music.
Just bring bottle of water and a yoga mat or towel for the class. Can be done with shoes or barefoot.

Burlesque

You’ll shimmy, shake, undulate, bump, grind, wiggle, jiggle, twirl and swirl your way through the classic burlesque moves. Not only will you walk away with a few new moves for the boudoir, but this is also a great workout! So come down and learn to shape up, the way showgirls do it!

Wear comfortable clothing (keeping in mind we may be doing some floorwork with our legs in the air!), a bottle of water, any shoes comfortable enough to dance in, but preferably a pair of heels.

Bolly Basic

Perfect introduction to the magical land of Bollywood and well suited for beginners level. Learn a fun, foot tapping Bollywood dance routine and bring out our inner Bolly Diva.
Recommended to be done barefoot, pack a bottle of water for the class.

1920’s Charleston

The Charleston was the dance that captured the spirit of the 1920s, and it’s also experiencing a huge revival around the world today. It’s energetic, upbeat and danced to toe-tapping hot jazz. You’ll learn a short fun Charleston Dance routine.

Wear comfortable clothing and flat shoes you can dance in. Slippery soles are best or you can dance in socks. Bring along a bottle of water.

Bolly Classical

Learn a beautiful choreography with a fusion of Bollywood and semi classical indian dance style. Workshops offers learning a fusion choreography, intricate classical hand gesture, facial expressions and more to a soothing Bollywood dance number.
Recommended to be done barefoot, pack a bottle of water for the class.

1960’s Gogo

The wild, upbeat 60’s music is guaranteed to get your toes tapping in this energetic class, and in no time you’ll be doing the Monkey, the Wahtusi, the Swim, the Hully Gully, the Mashed Potato, the Twist and many more!
Wear comfortable clothing and shoes (flats recommended) you can dance in (go-go boots optional!), a bottle of water and some 1960s free spirit!
