Pin-up & Cabaret Hair & Make-up

3-week course, three 2-hour sessions over three weeks.
Fridays 7.00 - 9.00pm, at Kings St Art Centre, Studio 1, 357 - 365 Murray St (Entrance from both Kings st and Murray St)

Course Description

Do you look at the silver screen stars of the past and wish you too looked that glamourous?

Now you can! This 3 week pratical workshop will help develop personal skills in hair and make-up application, concentrating on vintage pin-up techniques from the 1920's-1950's.

In addition to this you will receive a guide of "Tips and Trickery of the Modern Day Pin-up Girl"
which is an intensive guide covering all the main vintage styles and cheat sheets!
 

Week 1 : Vintage Hair Styling
Week 2: Vintage Make-up Application
Week 3: Cabaret Theatrical Hair and Make-up Design 

Sapphire Demure is a Make-up & Hair stylist specialising in Vintage & Cabaret style and works closely with David Woolley in all his private shoots and the Vintage Glamour Workshops. What to Bring

Please bring along with you to the first session a Hot rollers or a hair straightener, a comb, brush, hair spray & bobby pins. For make-up classes you will need false eyelashes, eye shadows (what ever you have), red lipstick, mascara & liquid or gel eyeliner and brushes. Sapphire will have supplies with her for anything that is missing.
